How do we get to know Him?
KJV: 1 Chronicles 28:9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
Seek Him and you will find Him.
"God is great, and therefore He will be sought; God is good, therefore He will be found."

| | | lizzy | Dec 12, 2007 1:55pm | How do you seek? only through his word can you realy get to know the personality of the true Almighty God..through the stories and proberbs in the bible you will come to see how powerful, and yet how gentle kind and forgiving God is..what he likes what he dislikes, eventualy a profile forms
and a great understanding of his motives and why he wants us to behave a particular way, or not behave in certain ways. |

A lot has to do with letting go of ego and self- submitting and letting God work through you. God is a gentleman- He'll never force you to do His will.Prayer, scripture and for some of us- the Eucharist. |
